Todd grew up in Cape Coral, Florida and then spent four years in the United States Navy as a Cryptologist (enlisted). He attended boot camp in Orlando, Florida and then attended “A” school in Pensacola, Florida. He was then given orders to be stationed overseas where he spent the next three and a half years serving his country. Todd was repeatedly involved in volunteer work while in the Navy and having earned his black belt in karate prior to joining the service he participated in several international karate tournaments representing the United States. He is the recipient of several military medals, letters of appreciation and commendations.
After his service in the Navy, Todd returned to the United States and attended Mid-Michigan Community College in Harrison, Michigan where he earned an Associates in Arts degree as well as an Associates in Corrections degree. He went on to attend Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, Michigan where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree with a double major in Biology and Political Science. While attending law school at Michigan State University Todd was the President of the Owen Graduate Hall Association and performed internships at the Michigan Attorney General’s Office and the Isabella County Prosecutor’s Office.
Todd is a former partner of the law firm Dreyer, Hovey & Diederich, LLP and currently owns his own lawfirm. He has many years experience in many matters of law. He was on the Board of Directors for the Harrison Chamber of Commerce and is also a member of the following associations.
